Join us for an evening of Autumnal art inspired by the tradition of still life painting. Enjoy a taste of the seasons, as we paint a landscape of the best seasonal produce and indulge in a feast prepared by India from Communi.Table.
Food & drink have always been used in art as symbolic motifs, from representing wealth & class to condemning the ethics of indulgence and excess. On this cosy evening of art making, we will focus on creating a snapshot of Autumn through food, connecting all of our senses to the transition into the harvest season.
Think a gorgeous generous banquet table, filled to the brim with both humble & exotic ingredients. After spending some time working on your Still Life, using materials from the Creative Licence paintbox, you will be invited to come up to the table and help yourself to a beautiful selection of dishes.
